Maria has worked in the field of child and family since 2003. She has over 13 years’ experience working in Forensic Psychology in the area of child protection, family preservation, Out-of-Home care, child development and diagnostic services, complex developmental trauma, attachment difficulties, parenting capacity and systemic work.
She takes a genuine collaborative, client-centered and family focused approach. Maria is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), APS College of Forensic Psychologist and is a Board Approved Supervisor.
She is a qualified facilitator of 1-2-3 Magic and Emotion Coaching parenting, Circle of Security Parenting Program, Cool Kids Anxiety Program, Reparative Parenting Program for Foster and Kinship Carers, and Tuning into Teens: Emotionally Intelligent Parenting.
Maria’s interests are in complex developmental trauma, child protection and OoHC, parent-child relationship and attachment work, and parenting capacity. Maria is an approved external provider for the Department of Communities and Justice.
